This statement comes in response to US President Donald Trump’s call for an immediate end to the Ukraine crisis. Trump, in a post on Truth Social, stated that he does not wish to harm Russia and has always maintained a good relationship with President Putin. However, he warned that if a deal is not reached soon, he would have no choice but to impose high levels of taxes, tariffs, and sanctions on all Russian goods.
